Christine McGarry serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, leading the strategic and operational management of the Bank’s financial functions. She has spent more than 25 years in banking, building a career defined by leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to strengthening financial resilience. Most recently, Christine worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where she supported community banks’ access to credit and liquidity through the Main Street Lending Program and the Discount Window. Her experience there reinforced how vital community banks are to the strength of the economy and the communities they serve, shaping her commitment to ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive. Earlier in her career, Christine held senior roles in finance and operations across several institutions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University and a Certificate in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Christine lives in Reading, Massachusetts, with her husband, Ken, and enjoys running, hiking, and cycling throughout New England.
